    A growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Sanitary Welder to support Engineering and Maintenance. This is a hands-on role for someone capable of independently taking stainless-steel fabrication projects from layout and fabrication through welding, finishing, installation, and turnover. The ideal candidate has advanced sanitary welding and stainless-steel fabrication experience and can serve as a technical resource within the plant. Responsibilities • Fabricate, modify, install, and repair stainless-steel equipment, piping, tanks, conveyors, platforms, guarding, hoppers, and other components., • Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding, including thin-gauge and sanitary stainless applications., • Lay out, cut, form, grind, polish, passivate, and finish stainless steel and other metals., • Read blueprints, weld symbols, P&IDs, schematics, and engineering drawings., • Build components from drawings and field measurements., • Support equipment installations, utility tie-ins, capital projects, and equipment upgrades., • Fabricate replacement parts to reduce equipment downtime., • Apply sanitary design standards using 304/316L stainless and food-grade materials., • Support troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement., • Mentor less-experienced fabricators and maintenance technicians. Qualifications • 7+ years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience., • 3+ years in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or another sanitary manufacturing environment., • Advanced TIG and MIG stainless-steel welding skills., • Experience with sanitary tubing, Tri-Clamp fittings, weld ferrules, and butt welds., • Strong stainless-steel layout, fabrication, grinding, polishing, and finishing skills., • Ability to independently complete fabrication projects., • Ability to read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and P&IDs., • Knowledge of sanitary design, GMPs, food safety, and CIP systems., • AWS D1.6 or ASME Section IX certification is a strong plus., • Orbital welding experience preferred. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable technician who can take the lead on commercial low-voltage projects, troubleshoot systems, make decisions in the field, and help guide less-experienced technicians. Responsibilities: • Install, service, troubleshoot, test, and maintain low-voltage systems, • Work with CCTV and IP camera systems, • Install and service access control systems, • Install and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems, • Work with fire alarm systems, • Perform structured cabling and networking installations, • Program and configure security equipment, • Read scopes of work, drawings, and project requirements, • Troubleshoot system and installation issues independently, • Lead technicians and coordinate work on job sites, • Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and office staff, • Complete commercial installations from start to finish, • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years of low-voltage experience, • 10+ years of experience preferred, • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, • Experience programming and configuring low-voltage/security systems, • Must be comfortable leading projects and directing other technicians, • Valid driver's license required, • Must be dependable and able to travel to job sites, • Ability to work occasional evenings, nights, or after-hours projects when required, • OSHA 30, NICET, FDNY, manufacturer certifications, and other industry certifications are a plus, but are not required
