Job Description Job Title: Millwright Job is Located in Columbus, Mississippi Job Description: Job is Located in Columbus, Mississippi Join our team on-site at a paper mill, where you will play a critical role in installing new equipment and troubleshooting existing machinery. Your expertise will ensure the successful completion of the shutdown process, working intensively to achieve our goals. Engage with various mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, shafts, chains, and pulleys, while performing preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing, sealing, measuring, and grinding. Responsibilities: Job is Located in Columbus, Mississippi • Install and troubleshoot equipment at the paper mill., • Work 12-hour shifts to complete the shutdown process., • Engage with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, shafts, chains, and pulleys., • 3-5+ years of experience working on breakdowns of large industrial machines., • Proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical work, carpentry, welding, and blueprint reading., • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial installation and repair., • Ability to use hand tools, fabrication, and power tools., • Experience in removing guards, couplings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and turbines., • Ability to tag and organize components for reassembly., • Proficiency in using cranes, precision tools, hoists, and rigs., • Experience inspecting bearings, shafts, seals, gears, belts, and rollers., • Ability to measure tolerances and clearances., • Experience checking alignment, wear, vibration damage, and heat effects., • Ability to perform alignments with laser shafts and dial indicators. This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
