Job Description Job Summary: The Director of Applications & Data is a senior technology leader responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and data platforms. This role ensures that business systems, analytics environments, and data assets are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. The director leads cross-functional teams spanning application development, data engineering, integration, and analytics. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of developers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications., • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions aligned with business goals., • Lead data architecture, data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence teams., • Build and maintain robust data platforms, data lakes/warehouses, and integration pipelines., • Implement and enforce data governance, data quality standards, and master data management., • Oversee the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment and support., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, DevOps, and UX/UI designers., • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and technical documentation., • Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to enhance application performance and maintainability., • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget., • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams, project managers and business analysts., • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and align technical strategy with business objectives., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field., • 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, data management, or software development., • 5+ years in a leadership or management role., • Strong experience in software architecture and system design., • Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale application or data platform transformations., • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices architecture., • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)., • Experience with EHR/ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday)., • Knowledge of modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, dbt, Power BI/Tableau)., • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities., • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on problem solving.Company DescriptionCOMPANY BACKGROUND TVG-Medulla, LLC is a multi-site healthcare management organization, with an emphasis on providing managed services to chiropractic providers.
