Job Description Summary/Objective A Field Service Tech involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at client locations by diagnosing technical issues, providing customer support, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting all work performed. Key responsibilities include traveling to sites, troubleshooting complex problems, testing and calibrating equipment, and training clients on proper usage. Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Install, inspect, and maintain various equipment and systems at client sites., • Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs to ensure consistent operation., • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the equipment and service received., • Document all service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities in detailed reports and company databases., • Train customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of the equipment., • Order and replace defective parts as needed to complete repairs., • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in mechanical and electrical systems, to diagnose issues quickly and accurately., • Ability to understand and read technical drawings and schematics (electrical/pneumatic)., • Ability to identify and creatively solve technical problems, often in real-time at a customer’s site., • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and building positive client relationships., • Punctuality, the ability to manage workload, and respond to service calls in a timely manner., • Flexibility to work different shifts and adapt to changing schedules. 1. Organizational Skills Required Education and Experience • Technical certification or an associate’s degree in electro-mechanical or related field., • SAP experience ideal. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment Primarily works on-stie at customer to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. Adhering to the safety measures of the customer’s plant and working both independently as well as a team effort. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely an active technical role whereby there may be times where the employee will be required to lift up to 40lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, hourly position based out of the Green Bay, WI office. The expectation is that the employee is available when service is required and is also available for continued training. When not traveling, employee needs to remain flexible to be available when the customer needs demand a technician for support. Travel The travel requirements for this position are approximately 70-80%.
