What you'll do: • Own end-to-end cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory, WIP, COGS, reserves, and reconciliation, • Maintain, roll, and validate costs: ensure accuracy of BoMs, routing, labor, and overhead rates, • Lead monthly and quarterly cost close, including manufacturing variances and inventory accounting, • Perform detailed variance analysis (PPV, material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption) and communicate root causes, • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations teams to track cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvement, • Ensure inventory controls and accurate valuation across warehouses, • Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecast, and long-range cost planning, • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls; support audits as required, • Prepare executive-level reporting and ad-hoc analyses for leadership Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, • 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, • Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory control, • Experience working with NetSuite (ERP), Arena (PLM), Tulip (MES), • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling, • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and locations, • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices.
