Job Description Electrical Maintenance Technician – CNC Machinery Focus Location: Lafayette, IN Shifts Available: • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, • 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM, • (Initial training on 1st shift for 2–4 weeks) - Could stay on 1st shift depending on needs. Overview We are actively seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with strong experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery. This role involves working with over 35 OEM machine brands and a wide range of equipment including: • CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, • ABB robots, • P&H cranes/hoists, • Conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, • CNC machine tools with Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon controllers Key Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair:, • AC/DC analog and digital drives, • Sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, • 480V systems, • Connect laptops to machines for diagnostics and repairs, • Use Maintenance Management System (MMS) to:, • Generate work orders, • Log maintenance activities via company-provided computer/tablet, • Prioritize repairs based on equipment value streamEssential Skills, • CNC equipment troubleshooting and repair, • PLC controls: go online and edit ladder logic, • Electrical troubleshooting via HMI, • Experience with control systems:, • Allen Bradley, • Siemens, • Rockwell, • Fanuc, • Knowledge of AC/DC power and Glass Scale Linear EncodersAdditional Qualifications (Not required), • Associate Degree in Industrial Automation (preferred), • Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair CNC equipment, • Strong knowledge in electrical machine repairWhy Join Us?, • Competitive pay above market rates, • Travel opportunities with per diem, • Fast-track hiring process (no lengthy onboarding), • $5,000 sign-on bonus upon full-time conversionWork Environment, • Climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility, • Machine shop production setting The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.
