Job DescriptionConstruction Manager - Data Centers Construction Manager Data Center & Mission Critical Systems Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. The Construction Manager will oversee the planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout of projects involving building automation, controls integration, low-voltage power systems, UPS and cooling infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end construction management for data center and mission-critical projects, including planning and scheduling., • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trade partners (mechanical, electrical, controls, low-voltage) to ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule and within budget., • Oversee installation and integration of Building Automation Systems (BAS), PLCs, HMIs, controls, and facility integration required for mission-critical operations., • Manage procurement, vendor relationships and installation of UPS systems, power distribution, generators, and cooling systems to meet uptime and redundancy requirements., • Develop and enforce quality control, safety and compliance programs; ensure installations meet applicable codes, standards and client specifications., • Lead commissioning activities and collaborate with commissioning agents to validate system functionality, perform testing, and document results for BAS, controls, power and cooling systems., • Work closely with engineering, design and controls teams to resolve technical issues, implement design changes and ensure constructability., • Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders and O&M materials for handover., • Monitor project performance using data-driven metrics, produce regular status reports for stakeholders and implement corrective actions as needed., • Mitigate risks to critical systems and ensure continuity of operations during construction through careful phasing, temporary systems and contingency planning., • Provide onsite leadership during critical milestones, including system startups, integrations, and final acceptance., • Experience in construction management experience with preference on data center or other mission-critical projects., • Knowledge of integration projects with Controls, PLC, HMI, BAS/Building Automation Systems, and integration of low-voltage systems., • Technical understanding of UPS systems, power distribution, generators, cooling/HVAC systems and mission-critical redundancy architectures., • Experience leading commissioning activities and working with commissioning agents on control and power systems., • Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to data centers and critical facilities (NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, etc.)., • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, budgets, change orders and site safety programs., • Certifications such as PMP, CxA, NICET, CompTIA Infrastructure or OSHA 30 are a plus., • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills; comfortable presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
