The National Accounts Off-Premise Manager is responsible for growing the HERITA USA portfolio of wines in their territory and with specifically assigned national retail accounts. The NA Off Manager is a detail-oriented person who utilizes data analytics and storytelling to create opportunities to grow HERITA brands' market penetration and sales. This individual collaborates with the Senior Director of National Accounts Off-Premise to achieve company objectives and expand market penetration. The NA Off Manager maintains existing relationships with our commercial team, distributor NA teams and NA retail buyers within their territory or assigned account coverage. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: ?\tAccount Management o\tDevelop high level business relationships with assigned accounts o\tCollaborate with our commercial team in their respective markets to execute national and regional programs and identify opportunities to grow ?\tMarket Activity o\tConduct store surveys to “inspect what you expect” in terms of placements, display activations and pricing o\tConduct distributor meetings-to communicate corporate programming, objectives and ensure planner execution o\tConduct market “work withs” with distributor chain managers and key account managers o\tParticipate in trade market activities in the region o\tTrain and educate NA teams on brand history and wine knowledge ?\tBusiness Acumen o\tWork with Sr. Sales Director to develop action plans for accounts to enhance depletions and expand distribution opportunities o\tAnalyze sales data (including depletions and syndicated data) to effectively manage business within assigned accounts and to identify and sell-in incremental business opportunities o\tKeep commercial team informed of market trends and competitive activities o\tMonitor retail trends and developments to stay relevant to changes in the industry and identify new selling opportunities o\tDevelop fact based selling tools o\tMonitor shelf pricing to uphold brand standards Allocation of Time: ?\tMarket engagement in region – 30% o\tGetting out in the market to inspect what we expect, following through on placements ?\tCorporate account calls – 30% o\tIn-person and virtual communications with national accounts ?\tAdministrative duties – 40% o\tNew item presentations, analytics, distributor and team engagement Job Requirements: ?\tBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience ?\tPreferred 5 years' experience in the wine industry with off-premise key accounts ?\tHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) ?\tStrong communication skills, including ability to negotiate and gain commitment ?\tKeen understanding of the three-tier distribution system ?\tMust be able to recognize and solve problems ?\tMust possess strong time management skills, work independently, and in a team environment to collaborate and achieve assigned goals and objectives ?\tGenuine passion and knowledge of wine industry, interest in Italian wines preferred ?\tAvailability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends, when necessary ?\tCandidate must reside within designated territory ?\tCandidate must be able to travel around within assigned designated territory, valid and clean driving record ?\tCandidate must be able to lift and carry a case of wine, 35LBS ?\tCandidate must be willing and able to travel to Italy, at the company's request ?\tCandidate must be willing and able to travel to corporate headquarters annually Location Dallas Texas (or major city in the West or Southwest Regions) Job category: Sales and Marketing
