Job Description Lease up Assistant Position Overview To perform the Lease Up Assistant role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties at a satisfactory level. The position is a Non-Exempt level role that requires the use of independent judgement and decision-making skills as well as educational expertise to maintain compliance. The Lease Up Assistant works under supervision of the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Leasing and Consulting Coordinator. This role is responsible for administrative support to the department. These duties are a usual and customary part of the role. Who We Are: Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management company with communities throughout California, specializing in all aspects of multifamily affordable housing since 1993. · Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with lease up activities, if needed., • Maintain relationships with other departments within Solari Enterprises to insure accurate and timely completion of work products., • Updates and makes copies of required forms for new resident interviews., • Updates and makes copies of leases and all applicable addendums., • Runs Credit and Criminal Background Checks during lease-ups., • Assists with the deposits received for Credit/Background or Security Deposits., • Assists with the input of new applications into Yardi for wait lists., • Assists with Yardi and keeps the wait list up-to-date during interviews, records and sends letters for denials, etc., • Assists with setting up new properties in Yardi and inputs new resident’s household information (member, income, assets) during lease-ups., • Assists with conducting annual recertification interviews and follows up on outstanding items that have been requested., • Mails monthly interview letters. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), • One year of Office experience, preferably in a busy Receptionist role., • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the general computer skills., • Handling multi-line phone system., • Must possess excellent interpersonal, strong written and verbal communication skills, organization and multitasking skills., • Detailed-oriented., • Reliable Transportation, • Valid California driver's license, • $17 Hourly, • PTO (Holidays, Vacation, and Sick), • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Our portfolio includes multifamily housing for families, seniors, persons with special needs, homeless households, veterans, single room occupancy, a business park and commercial communities. The services we offer extend from assisting with development planning, construction or rehabilitation, through lease-up, into daily management operations of the community. Our Home Office is in Orange, California, with additional offices in San Diego and Campbell, California. Our offices are staffed by certified professionals with an average of fifteen years’ experience specializing in various disciplines related to the management of affordable housing, including regional managers, bookkeepers, compliance specialists, and maintenance personnel. We provide consulting services, outside of our portfolio, to Owners, Managers and Equity Investors of affordable housing, with compliance monitoring services via file audits and repair. Our clients recognize the value of our level of expertise and experience to meet their compliance needs. Entering 2017, Solari Enterprises, Inc. began celebrating 25 years of service within the Affordable Housing industry. In celebration of our accomplishment, our Team Members committed to completing 25 Acts of Kindness. We were overjoyed by the team members’ responses and kindhearted suggestions. By the end of 2017, we as a company, exceeded the initial goal of 25 Act of Kindness!
