Position Summary The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured at The Fresh Factory conform to food safety and quality specifications as well as overseeing quality system validation and verifications. This position will involve overseeing all quality personnel for all locations, coordinating and executing all quality programs and initiatives, and being the main liaison between QA and Operations. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. This is a first shift role and will be operating independently, a candidate with strong self-organization and task management is preferred. Responsibilities • Scheduling all Quality Tech positions, • Review all paperwork generated by the Quality Control System, • Sign off on all CCPs / PPCs, • Preform GMP audits and daily line inspections for GMP adherence, • Preform Process Reviews, • Be a front line investigator for Quality Complaints, CAPA / Internal Audit Program, • Be the Operations to QA liaison for all issues, • Backfill QA coverage as needed, • As needed, be the senior representative for operations in the absence of the line leads, • Strong communication skills, • Previous experience as a supervisor in a food manufacturing facility, • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, • Ability to work with multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse & Logistics, and R&D, • Ability to use a computer and tablet, • Must speak, read, and write in English and be conversationally fluent in Spanish, • Move/Lift up to 50lbs, • Stands most of the day, • Works in Cold Room (35F-40F) 10-20% of the time We offer competitive pay; Medical, Dental, Vision, voluntary coverage (STD, LTD, Life); plus a great working environment, a culture of trust and growth opportunities for our employees.

This position involves a variety of activities related to recruitment, data collection, data management, and reporting of results, contributing to the success of clinical research trials. Responsibilities • Recruit and consent research participants., • Conduct telephone or in-person interviews with participants, including screening for eligibility., • Perform follow-up with study participants through telephone, email, and mail., • Prepare, mail, and process questionnaires and other study correspondence., • Assist in tracking study participants using MS Excel., • Maintain accurate and detailed records and files of work., • Review, edit, clean, and enter participant data into a database., • Assist with literature reviews for proposal submissions and manuscript preparation., • Handle bookkeeping related to study budgets, including ordering supplies and requesting checks for payment and participant incentives., • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED)., • 6+ months of clinical research experience., • Experience in the medical field, including phlebotomy., • Tech savvy., • Interest in growing in clinical research. In addition to an active ambulatory practice, the DBS surgical program is one of the busiest in Illinois with an APN who serves as our dedicated DBS Coordinator. Patient care is foremost and enhanced by our interdisciplinary team from neurosurgery, neurophysiology, behavioral neurology, neuropsychology, social work, and rehab, all of whom practice together in our Center. Rehabilitation therapists are certified in Big and Loud therapy. The team also includes a dedicated Movement Disorders clinical trials coordinator. Funding for investigator-initiated research is possible.
