Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Program Supervisor for the BSAS Low Threshold Housing program is responsible for overseeing daily operations and supervising a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, a housing specialist, and an administrative assistant. This role involves conducting outreach, assessing participant eligibility, supporting housing stabilization, and managing program documentation and budgets. The supervisor will promote a harm-reduction and Housing First approach while ensuring that all services are delivered in alignment with MHA’s core values of Respect, Integrity, and Compassion and in compliance with agency policies and funding regulations. Pay Rate: $53,000 annually Open Shift: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm (40h), some flexibility required Key Responsibilities • Supervise and support program staff, including case managers, housing specialist, and administrative assistant, through training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and regular supervision; collaborate with the part-time program nurse., • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the BSAS Low Threshold Housing program, ensuring effective service delivery, crisis response, and adherence to incident reporting protocols., • Promote and model a harm-reduction, Housing First, and trauma-informed approach in all participant engagement and staff interventions., • Manage program referrals and the waitlist, conduct eligibility screenings, and prioritize participant needs for housing placement., • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, community agencies, referral sources, and service providers to support housing access and coordinated services., • Support participants before and after housing placement through advocacy, service coordination, and short-term follow-up to promote housing stability., • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, progress notes, housing paperwork, and data entry; conduct monthly record audits to maintain compliance with program and funder requirements., • Oversee program administrative responsibilities, including budget monitoring, petty cash and debit card management, staff training compliance, and participation in external meetings with funders and partners. About the Division of Supportive Housing (DSH) MHA’s Division of Supportive Housing (DSH) provides safe, stable housing and individualized wraparound services for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness. Many of the people we serve are also navigating challenges related to substance use, incarceration, or trauma. DSH programs are designed to support long-term stability and help individuals successfully transition to independent, permanent housing.
