HR Generalist Yzer is seeking an HR Generalist to perform HR-related duties on a professional level and work with all levels of employees to support designated business units. This person will focus on employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and policy implementation. The HR Generalist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Location: 12470 Telecom Drive Tampa FL- (Onsite) no Hybrid or Virtual available Pay Scale: $65K to $75K Hours: 40 standard, however additional hours will be necessary based on customer needs. M-F 8:30AM to 5:30pm. Job Responsibilities: • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and employment matters, • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions, • Support managers with coaching, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions, • Promote a positive employee experience and culture, • Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment, • Coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate communications, • Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation, • Ensure completion of all pre-employment and onboarding documentation, • Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits, • Support open enrollment processes, • Manage leave administration (FMLA, ADA, state leaves, etc.), • Serve as liaison between employees and benefit providers, • Maintain compliance with employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ACA, ADA, EEOC regulations, • Maintain personnel files and HRIS data integrity, • Assist with audits and reporting requirements, • Update and communicate HR policies and procedures, • Performance Management & Development, • Assist leadership with goal setting and development planning, • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs, • Process employee status changes, • Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping compliance, • Generate HR reports and metrics, • Support organizational initiatives and projects Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field a plus.Will take work experience in lieu of education., • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus., • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and employment regulations, • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits administration, • Experience supporting performance management systems Physical Requirements/Work Environment • The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
