Our team lives out these values every day on our projects! Requirements: What is the role of the Asphalt Plant Division? The Asphalt Plant Division is in the Production Group. At each facility, we unload granite stone, crush recycled asphalt, crush concrete, and produce asphalt. What is an Asphalt Plant Operator (APO)? This person gets to assist in all ground operations at the plant, crusher, and unloading facility. . This role is critical in verifying ownership of mineral rights and locating heirs for curative and leasing purposes. If you have at least two years of experience in title abstracting, probate research, genealogy, or oil and gas heirship research—and you enjoy solving complex ownership puzzles through courthouse records, online tools, and direct outreach—we encourage you to apply. Job DescriptionAs a Heirship Researcher, your primary responsibility will be tracing ownership of mineral interests through probate, intestacy, and conveyance records. This includes locating heirs, identifying missing links in the chain of title, and preparing documentation to support lease acquisition or title curative work. You will work closely with title attorneys, landmen, and leasing teams to resolve ownership issues and ensure the accuracy of mineral title chains. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, research-focused, and comfortable navigating public records, genealogy tools, and probate documentation. Required Skills/Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years experience leading blast and coating projects., • Experience in estimating, budgeting and cost control for blast and paint projects., • Associates degree in a technical discipline is preferred., • Must demonstrate the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical engineering design and assembly drawings., • Must have a solid understanding and appreciation for site safety policies and procedures., • Must have strong leadership abilities and be able to manage customer perspectives on site, from blasters, to foremen, to owners. Must be able to effectively resolve conflicts., • Must be able to demonstrate excellent organizational & critical thinking skills., • Must have a high sense of urgency and ability to get it done on site. Customer uptime is critical., • Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate at all levels., • Must be able to demonstrate a solid grasp of basic computer systems: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc., • Must be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail., • Must be able to demonstrate excellent task and time management skills., • Flexibility to travel extensively, including being on customer sites on weekends as required., • Preferred experience in a broad range of industries, including Oil and Gas, Large Shipyards, Water Storage, and Steel Fabrication.
