Oak Grove provides a fully accredited academic program with a focus on academics, faith, and service. Founded in 1906, Oak Grove continues to grow, thrive, and live our core Mission and Vision. Oak Grove provides a fully accredited academic program and maintains high academic standards. Smaller class sizes offer students an educational experience in which they can thrive and receive the attention they deserve. Across the north and south campuses, Oak Grove proudly employs 86 faculty and staff to serve the faith-based academic needs of 737 students with the capacity to serve 866 kids K-12. Oak Grove’s intent is to remain focused on small class sizes with opportunities for all students to participate in extra-curricular activities. With that growth in mind, the Board of Regents is seeking their next President to lead a collaborative and cohesive administration that ignites a passion for lifelong learning and faithful service. About the Opportunity The President role exists to lead and inspire staff, students, families, donors, and other partners to fuel the mission of expressing God’s love by nurturing students for academic achievement, lifelong Christian commitment, and loving service throughout the world. Together with a dedicated staff, strong Board of Regents, and invested faith-based community, the selected candidate will be well-positioned to make a significant mission impact. This is an ideal position for a highly relational, strategic, and mission-driven leader with a track record of achievement and results with the passionate heart of a follower of Christ. Building upon this strong foundation, initiatives that will be a top priority for the President include but are not limited to: collaborating to create an actionable roadmap for progress, enhancing strategic alignment; nurturing a strong culture for students, faculty, and families; and building on the success of the Acorns to Oaks capital campaign. Key Accountabilities Vision, Strategy, and Execution Co-create and ensure the execution of a clear, actionable strategy to achieve Oak Grove's mission and drive measurable progress toward achieving its long-term vision. Build and Lead the Executive Team Build and retain a cohesive, high-performing leadership team through proactive coaching, strategic alignment, and professional development. Financial Performance Partner with the CFO and Finance Committee to provide robust financial oversight, internal controls, and transparent reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term fiscal sustainability. Mission Ambassador Expand brand awareness and deepen constituent engagement through proactive outreach, strategic public speaking, and visible leadership within the Grover community. Culture Foster an accessible, inclusive, and high-trust environment that promotes personal, professional, and spiritual growth for all stakeholders. Cultivate a collaborative culture rooted in the organization's mission and shared values. Board Relations and Corporate Governance Support the Board of Regents in recruiting and engaging a diverse, effective membership. Leverage individual strengths and provide the transparency and tools necessary for proactive, informed governance. Academic Achievement Provide leadership and accountability for academic achievement by optimizing structures, systems, and oversight. Ensure a rigorous learning environment that fosters student success through a faith-filled and service-driven lens. Institutional Advancement & Strategic Philanthropy Serve as the primary architect and lead champion of the institution's philanthropic vision, inspiring transformative investment, cultivating high-level donor ecosystems, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the mission through strategic relationship management. Experience, Background, & Attributes The Board of Regents sees the ideal candidate matching as many of these aspects as possible: • Passion for and commitment to Oak Grove Lutheran School’s mission, • Executive or management experience at a respected nonprofit or public institution.
