The Cook will be responsible for supporting the outlet kitchen chefs and assisting with supporting kitchen staff. The role will work on multiple stations within the kitchen and ensure the preparation and quality of food are to outlet standards. If it is a mess that needs more attention, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual., • Everyone works in Guest Experience–If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual. What you will be doing: Includes, but not limited to:, • Preparing food according to restaurant recipes and/or guests’ request(s)., • Assisting multiple stations with food prep, cooking and plating (e.g. broiler, sauté, fryer, garde manger, etc.…), when needed., • Maintaining the highest level of food presentation and quality., • Ensuring sanitation procedures and organization of work area(s)., • Adhering to all health code regulations and standards., • Maintaining food and supply inventory and notify management of restocking requirements., • Attending and participating in daily briefings or pre-shifts., • Obtaining and maintaining position-specific licensing., • Ensuring all core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied., • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc., • At least two years of cooking experience in a full-service restaurant or similar environment., • Ability to translate recipes into dishes., • Compatible knife skills., • Ability to effectively communicate in English, • Polished appearance and demeanor., • Excellent customer service skills., • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures., • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays., • Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field or training., • Previous experience in buffet operations. c1Ht582jRw
