Are you a proven restaurant leader who thrives in a high-volume, full-service environment? Do you know how to build strong teams, manage the business behind the restaurant, and still understand that sometimes the best place for a General Manager to be is on the floor alongside the team? We're looking for true restaurant people—hands-on leaders who understand the business because they've worked it. At MooCoo Group, we create neighborhood gathering places centered around great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality in a no-attitude atmosphere. Craftsmanship, consistency, hospitality, and strong restaurant operations are at the core of what we do. Our General Managers aren't simply administrators. They are the leaders of their restaurants and are expected to understand every part of the operation—from the guest experience and team culture to staffing, food and beverage costs, labor, inventory, systems, safety, and the P&L. We're looking for leaders who can take ownership of a restaurant, develop the people around them, follow established systems, identify opportunities to make those systems better, and be accountable for results. The Role The General Manager is one of the most trusted leaders within our organization and has overall responsibility for the day-to-day success of their restaurant. Someone who: • Is comfortable being accountable for the entire restaurant, • Doesn't manage exclusively from an office, • Understands when to delegate and when to step in, • Develops people instead of simply replacing them, • Can have difficult conversations professionally, • Holds high standards without creating a negative culture, • Understands the numbers behind the operation, • Knows how to manage labor without sacrificing the guest experience, • Notices problems before they become emergencies, • Follows systems while also identifying opportunities to improve them, • Communicates proactively with company leadership, • Doesn't expect others to do something they wouldn't be willing to do themselves, • Understands that consistency matters just as much on a slow Tuesday as it does on a busy Saturday night Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely lives and breathes the restaurant business and understands that successful restaurants are built through people, systems, accountability, and hospitality. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive Salary: $65,000 – $85,000, based on experience and location, • Lucrative Performance-Based Bonus Program, • Health Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Paid Vacation, • Employee Dining Benefits, • Leadership Development Opportunities, • Career Advancement Within a Growing Restaurant Group Why MooCoo Group? This is more than a General Manager position. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a restaurant, develop people, build culture, and have a measurable impact on the success of the business. We believe strong restaurants begin with strong leadership. We provide systems and expectations, but we also expect our General Managers to think, lead, problem-solve, communicate, and take ownership. We want leaders who are as comfortable reviewing a P&L as they are talking with a guest, coaching a manager, checking the kitchen, helping during a rush, or recognizing an employee who did something exceptional. If you're an experienced restaurant General Manager who is passionate about hospitality, team development, operational excellence, financial performance, and building restaurants where both guests and employees want to return, we'd love to hear from you.
