Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our client’s medical facility in Clifton, NJ. This is a 6+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Quality Assurance Specialist Location: Clifton, NJ 07012 Pay Rate: $35 - $55/hr. on W2. Shift: First Shift (8 AM - 4:30 PM)/EST Duration: 6+ months *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Quality Assurance Coordinator – Clinical Laboratory We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to support laboratory quality, compliance, and accreditation activities. This role helps ensure all pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes align with company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality goals. Key Responsibilities • Support laboratory inspections and ensure compliance with CLIA ’88, CAP, and other regulatory standards, • Assist with licensing, accreditation, and internal audit processes, • Coordinate proficiency testing and corrective action activities when needed, • Support quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) programs across departments, • Help maintain QA manuals, quality indicators, and monitoring programs, • Track report revisions and reportable quality issues according to SOPs, • Assist with instrument, method, and laboratory comparison processes, • Participate in monthly QA meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives, • Collaborate with laboratory teams and management on quality-related projects Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, • Qualification as General Laboratory Supervisor as defined by CLIA ’88, • Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience, • Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and laboratory regulations/accreditation requirements Skills & Competencies • Strong communication and writing skills, • Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations, • Problem-solving and quality improvement skills, • Strong organizational and project management abilities, • Analytical, technical, and computer skills, • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, • Team-oriented with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
