Position Summary: The Strategic Learning and Business Consultant - Leadership is responsible for driving leadership development across the organization. Responsible for leading performance coaching, team development, and leadership training using the Birkman method, ensuring leaders at all levels are equipped with the tools they need to succeed. Will design, build, and facilitate the Leadership Institute, while providing consultative expertise to HR and managing leadership-related documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group performance coaching for leaders, leveraging the Birkman method to improve self-awareness, leadership behaviors, and team dynamics., • Facilitate team development sessions that enhance collaboration, communication, and leadership effectiveness across departments., • Build and facilitate the Leadership Institute, a structured program focused on developing leadership skills for current and future leaders within the organization., • Act as a strategic consultant to the HR department, advising on leadership development strategies, talent management, and organizational development needs., • Oversee the management of leadership-related documents, including training materials, development plans, and assessments to ensure consistency and accessibility., • Utilize the Birkman method for assessments and development plans, providing insights into personality, behavior, and performance to enhance leadership effectiveness., • Conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews of training courses to ensure content is current, delivery is professional and identify any learning gaps., • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies Required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership development, coaching, or organizational development. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience. Skills Required: • Certification in the Birkman Method is preferred or willingness to become certified., • Strong experience in performance coaching, team development, and leadership program facilitation., • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training facilitation., • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies., • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills., • Proven ability to collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and implement leadership initiatives., • Experience with document management systems and maintaining organizational records., • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment., • Overtime required – N/A., • Travel 10-20% - as required on an as needed basis., • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ. Qualifications Preferred: • Experience – Preferred 3+ years of experience in a learning development role within the indirect auto finance market, banking/finance company/auto industry. Project management experience is a plus., • Certification - Training and Development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) certification is a plus. Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma certification preferred, with experience applying process improvement methodologies to optimize training and development initiatives., • Skills - Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools. Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
