Job Description Hiring: Unit Receptionist/Secretary Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567 Shift: Full-Time, 5x8, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Contract Length: 13 Weeks, Possible Extension Pay Rate: $20 - $26/hr Required Qualifications: ✔ High School Diploma/GED ✔ 1+ years of clerical work experience ✔ Front desk reception experience ✔ Phone handling, patient greeting, scanning, and basic computer skills ✔ Medical Terminology Course or medical background preferred ✔ Strong computer and communication skills ✔ Organizational, prioritization, and assertiveness skills Key Responsibilities: • Perform unit clerical duties with a focus on chart management and unit communications, • Facilitate transportation, specimen, and equipment requests, • Answer Nurse Call intercoms and relay patient requests, • Maintain patient identification responsibilities, • Update manuals and bulletin boards, • Order and maintain clerical and chart supplies, • Maintain a clean and organized nursing station, • Review charts for completeness and assist with record management, • Utilize computer systems for order entry, results reporting, admissions, transfers, and discharges Pride Global offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
