We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Systems Manager to support the successful planning of Waites installation projects across customer facilities. This role serves as a critical link between our customers, sales teams, and internal project execution teams by conducting onsite installation surveys and gathering the technical, operational, and safety information needed to ensure seamless deployments of the Waites system. The Systems Manager will travel to customer locations to perform comprehensive project assessments, including asset verification, installation planning, safety and PPE evaluations, environmental considerations, and site readiness reviews. This individual will work cross-functionally with Project Services, Installation, Customer Success, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped, documented, and prepared for execution. As one of the first onsite representatives of Waites, the Systems Manager will play a key role in delivering a professional, organized, and customer-centric experience from the very beginning of the customer journey. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, proactive, and comfortable operating in industrial environments while managing multiple projects and stakeholders. weekend travel required Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available at this time Exemption Status: exempt Job Description This position will give you the opportunity to: • Conduct onsite installation surveys and project assessments at customer facilities across a variety of industrial environments, • Gather and document detailed site information including asset inventories, machinery details, environmental conditions, safety requirements, PPE expectations, and installation readiness needs, • Assess customer operational environments and apply knowledge of Waites products, systems, and installation requirements to support successful project execution, • Identify installation considerations, project risks, and logistical requirements while ensuring accurate project scoping and documentation, • Serve as an external point of contact for customers during the survey and planning phases of projects, • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Services, Installation, Customer Success, and other internal teams to ensure projects are properly planned and executed, • Accurately document technical findings, recommendations, and installation requirements within internal systems and project documentation, • Own and manage personal travel schedules, accommodations, and project timelines to ensure deliverables are completed thoroughly and on time, • Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders regarding project updates, schedule changes, customer expectations, and project readiness, • Assist in refining and improving internal survey, documentation, and project planning processes to optimize operational efficiency and scalability, • Support the generation and successful execution of customer installation projects through detailed planning and proactive communication, • Build strong working relationships with customers by delivering a professional, organized, and customer-centric experience onsite, • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectivesRequirements: Qualifications & Requirements: • Military experience in technical, engineering, or maintenance-focused disciplines (e.g., Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Systems, Aviation Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Industrial Maintenance, or related military occupational specialties), or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, is preferred., • Technical trade school, vocational, or industrial maintenance education and experience will also be strongly considered, • Interest in industrial environments, rotating equipment, predictive maintenance, reliability solutions, field services, or sales engineering, • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to independently manage schedules, travel coordination, priorities, and deliverables, • Ability to assess technical environments, gather detailed information, and quickly learn customer operations and machinery applications, • Strong mechanical and technical curiosity with the ability to learn Waites systems, sensor technologies, installation methodologies, and industrial applications, • Willingness and enthusiasm to pursue and obtain industry certifications, including CAT I and CAT II vibration analysis certifications, • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document technical findings, project requirements, asset information, and installation considerations, • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams including Sales, Project Services, Installation, Customer Success, and Engineering, • Comfortable working within manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, and customer production environments, • Ability to identify project risks, installation considerations, and operational challenges while supporting solution planning, • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through, • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to professionally represent Waites onsite at customer facilities, • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer locations as needed, • Proficiency with common business systems, project documentation tools, and communication platforms preferred Working Conditions: • Walk, use hands to handle or operate tools, and reach with arms, • Climb ladders and stairs, as well as crawl and kneel as needed, • Sit, talk,
