Job DescriptionDescription:(Must live in Southern Ohio or Northern Kentucky) Monitoring, Control and Compliance, Inc. (MCC) is a privately owned small business providing services to the solid waste industry. Founded by a former landfill gas technician in 2005 with two employees; and has since grown to approximately 65 employees utilizing a controlled growth strategy. Our focus is the installation, operation and maintenance of landfill gas systems that are installed to reduce the emissions of Methane impacting our environment and provide for a “Green” energy source for our client’s end-users. Why Monitoring Control and Compliance • We are a team that will train you and offer you a unique and challenging career in the Landfill Gas Industry with opportunity for growth and advancement in a growing company, • Comprehensive benefits offerings including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance Parental leave, PTO and Matching 401K., • Supports the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline infrastructure., • Various manual labor tasks, including excavation, pipe handling, and site preparation, to ensure the efficient and safe operation of pipeline projects, • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems, including the assembly and disassembly of pipelines., • Perform excavating and trenching work using excavators, skid steer, offroad truck and other heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations., • Load, unload, and position pipes and related materials using appropriate tools and equipment., • Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, vegetation, and other obstacles., • Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as jackhammers, compactors, and saws, following safety guidelines., • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training sessions., • Provide support to skilled workers, such as welders and pipefitters, by holding materials, tools, and other equipment., • Assist in inspecting pipeline systems for leaks, damage, or other issues, and report findings to the supervisor., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including the proficient and safe use of hand tools., • Detail oriented, • Operate various types of excavator and other types of heavy equipment, • Mechanical aptitude., • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record., • Ability to pass pre-employment, as well as random, drug screens, background check and motor vehicle records check., • Previous landfill gas systems construction experience., • Current OSHA 40 Hr. HAZWOPER., • HDPE pipe fusion certificate, • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently., • Perform repetitive motions, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods., • Work in confined spaces and at heights, as required by the job., • Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions., • Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials commonly found in construction sites, • Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions., • Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials commonly found in construction sites., • Able to travel overnight up to 75%
