Job DescriptionSalary: $50k-$150k+ annually About Smash My Trash You read that right: Smash My Trash. And that's exactly what we do! Our innovative, eye-catching truck has a Smasher on the back. We pull up to dumpsters and literally Smash the trash inside, reducing the amount by 50-75%. Our customers love us because more compacted waste means fewer dumpster hauls, which automatically saves customers money! Plus, reducing dumpster hauls means less back and forth to the landfill, which helps our environment. Its a win/win. The Role Interested in selling a product that will make you a hero to customers? Want to build a career with limitless (6 figures+) earning potential and room for growth into management roles? If so, we are looking for you. Wed like you to come help us build the sales function for Smash My Trash - Southwest Bay Area. You will be our first sales hire, and will build the function from 0, with tons of room to make your mark on our business and grow into a manager position. This is a hunter role, meaning you will be responsible for identifying and targeting prospects, showing them how our service dramatically reduces their dumpster hauls (and consequently saves them significant money), and managing the sales process to close. You will be measured based on the new revenue you drive for the company, the volume of business you build, and growth month over month. Our customers are in varied industries, including manufacturing, shipping & logistics, residential and commercial construction, to name a few. Virtually any customer with an open-top roll-off dumpster is an eligible candidate for our services. This is an outside sales position but you would need to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A Day in the Life • Creating new sales opportunities through direct, in-person prospecting, • Scheduling and coordinating on-site demos (the cornerstone of our sales process), • Presenting custom proposals based on waste needs, • Managing multiple sales cycles at once through to closure, • Maintaining CRM records for weekly/monthly sales reports, • Representing the company at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows, • Self-sufficient and hungry. Willingness to get after it every day., • Motivated by high earning potential and career growth., • Energetic and personable, • 3-5 years experience in B2B services with a proven track record of achieving monthly sales goals., • Ability to build strong, personal relationships with customers., • Dependable and organized.
