Job Summary: The Licensed Psychiatric Technician, under the direction of and in collaboration with a Registered Nurse, provides nursing care, milieu management including appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Six months experience working in an acute mental health treatment setting within the past four years. Current Psychiatric Technician license by the state of California. Essential Responsibilities: • Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with all patients. Communicate with patient via phone, secure message, video, letter and document appropriately., • Administers medication and treatments to patients. Responsibilities • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels. • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off- site repair for remote users as needed. • Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment. • Where required, administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation network software products. • Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails and/or work orders regarding desktop problems. • Prepare tests and applications for monitoring computer performance, then provide performance statistics and reports. • As necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
