Project Manager o Conduct analyses of assigned projects to develop a project plan. o Coordinate all project task activities (Review shop drawings, pre-production reviews, quality and progress monitoring, scheduling, purchasing, outsourcing, subcontracting, shipping, installation, etc.) o Effectively communicate with both internal and external project-related parties on the impact of any delays, what caused the delay, and the countermeasures being taken to adjust. Maintain documentation of all communication. o Provide the Accounting Department with assistance as needed to resolve any accounting issues with project. o Provide close out documents (warranty, maintenance manual, as built drawings, etc.) as required. o When necessary, obtain all field verifications and conditionals for accurate shop drawings for fabrication and installation. Estimator: o Review sign projects to determine the most economical manner for fabricating, transporting and installing while meeting the requirements of the designer, client, landlords, municipalities, etc. o Determine requirements for labor, materials, outsourcing, sub-contracting, engineering, etc. needed for the project. o Estimate costs of change orders for previously sold jobs. o Identify the pricing structure required for products to sell at profit. o Maintain records of estimated and actual costs. Note favorable and unfavorable variances and develop action plans for improvement. Related Duties: Maintain an organized, thorough record of all projects. Monitor projects with regard to schedule and budgetary requirements. Identify unfavorable variances and enact countermeasures. Oversee all billing for assigned projects. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, co-workers, and others, as necessary. Complete all aspects of a sale when made. o Coordinate and review activities related to each job as needed with Design, Estimators, Permitting, and Project Management. Compliance with company safety program and dress code. Experience in a multi-tasking environment. Proven track record planning and managing resources. Positive attitude and willingness to adapt. Advanced math skills used to calculate labor, material, and equipment estimates. Preferred Skills: Experience with Computer Systems Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience with Estimating Software Competent with data analysis and forecasting. Time management is used to plan and work efficiently to meet assigned deadlines. Detail orientation, being precise in estimates to avoid minor impacts to overall expense of a project. Extensive knowledge of cost accounting principles. Job Description Intercompany Project Manager / Estimator Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to sit and use a computer for long periods of time. Lift up to 15 pounds when necessary. Perform the following tasks during the workday reading, writing, speaking, listening, typing, siting, standing, walking. Working Conditions: Full-time position in an office environment. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. Working Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM. Two (2) 15-minute rest breaks and one (1) 1-hour lunch break each day.
