Job Description Alynix-BAAM.Tech is looking for a LiDAR Processing & Support Specialist to join our technical team and assist in delivering exceptional service and expertise to our customers. This role blends technical LiDAR processing skills with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. You’ll support customers via email, phone, and training sessions, assist with technical training (both remote and in-person), and collaborate with the sales team to provide workflow expertise during pre-sale and onboarding calls. You'll also work directly alongside our current lead support and training specialist — contributing to the delivery of hands-on Terrasolid training and helping scale support capacity as we grow. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment and is passionate about helping users get the most out of their geospatial tools. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for Terrasolid software workflows via email, phone, and screen-sharing sessions, • Assist with remote and in-person technical trainings for customers, focusing on Terrasolid workflows and hardware/software integration, • Support new customer onboarding by participating in sales calls as the technical expert, offering workflow guidance and answering product-related questions, • Collaborate with the lead support and training specialist to resolve complex support tickets and deliver high-quality training experiences, • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Terrasolid software updates, features, and best practices, • Contribute to internal documentation, training materials, and user guides, • Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience (Land Surveying, etc.), • Hands-on experience with Terrasolid software (e.g., TerraScan, TerraMatch, TerraModeler, etc.), • Solid understanding of LiDAR processing workflows, including classification, feature extraction, and georeferencing, • Familiarity with drone, mobile, or airborne LiDAR systems and associated data, • Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable engaging with customers in both technical support and training settings, • Ability to troubleshoot and explain complex geospatial workflows in a clear, user-friendly way, • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small, focused team, • Experience with additional geospatial software such as Terrasolid, Spatix, MicroStation, or Global Mapper, • Familiarity with photogrammetry software (e.g., Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D), • Exposure to drone flight planning and data collection workflows, • Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, VBA) for processing efficiency, • Previous experience delivering technical training or customer support in a professional setting, • Understanding of coordinate systems, datums, and geospatial data formats, • Interest in staying current with LiDAR processing trends, geospatial innovations, and Terrasolid updates
