Job DescriptionAssembler – Precision Mechanical Assembly (Helicoils & Machined Parts) If you enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in precision, and want a stable role where you can grow your skills, this position is a great fit. As an Assembler, you’ll work with machined aluminum parts, installing helicoils and small components using hand tools, power tools, and blueprints. You’ll have your own dedicated workbench in a clean, climate‑controlled shop with a consistent four‑day workweek. 🔧 What You’ll Do • Assemble machined aluminum parts by installing helicoils using small drills, screwdrivers, and precision tools, • Install helicoils to protect threads and ensure long‑term durability of components, • Read and follow blueprints and schematics to verify part requirements and placement, • Handle small components with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, • Work at your own bench while standing for most of the shift, • Use hand tools and basic power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and small drills, • Troubleshoot minor issues like misalignments or thread inconsistencies, • Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety and shop standards, • Collaborate with leads to clarify drawings and ensure accuracy, • Learn new skills including machine operation as training opportunities arise🛠️ Essential Skills, • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly, especially with small parts, • Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches) safely and effectively, • Experience with small power tools, including drills, • Basic blueprint reading with the ability to interpret simple drawings, • Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills, • Comfortable standing for most of a 10‑hour shift, • Basic troubleshooting ability, • Willingness to work primarily with small, detailed components➕ Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Full blueprint reading ability (a strong plus and may increase earning potential), • Experience working from schematics in a production environment, • Experience in small or mid‑size shops where cross‑training is common, • Interest in growing into a skilled trade, including machine operation, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high‑quality work🌟 Why You’ll Love Working Here, • A small to mid‑size shop that invests in employee development, • Hands‑on training with opportunities to learn machine operation and expand your skill set, • Clear path for career growth into more technical roles, • Four‑day workweek (Monday–Thursday) with three‑day weekends, • Clean, organized, climate‑controlled environment, • Supportive team culture focused on learning, precision, and craftsmanship🏭 Work Environment, • Climate‑controlled, organized warehouse environment, • Somewhat loud due to running machines, • Individual workbench for focused, independent work, • Standing for most of the shift, • First shift: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
