Your inspections directly support mission-critical systems for defense applications, helping keep equipment reliable, safe, and ready for deployment worldwide. What You'll Do \n • Inspect parts and assemblies using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to confirm compliance with drawings and specifications.\n, • Review supplier documentation and ensure quality during receiving, in-process, and final inspections.\n, • Support Manufacturing Associates by interpreting drawings and job instructions for accurate production.\n, • Perform functional testing (leak, permeability, dimensional, etc.) per established procedures.\n, • Document, communicate, and track inspection results and nonconformance issues, assisting in corrective actions as needed.\n, • Participate in audits, maintain quality management system documents, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\n, • Collaborate with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure inspection standards are met.\n, • Follow safety programs and maintain clean, organized QA work areas in support of 5S initiatives.\n\n What You Bring \n • Minimum 5 years of experience in ISO 9001 quality management systems and mechanical inspection in manufacturing or service environments.\n, • Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\n, • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear, concise communication.\n, • Blueprint reading experience and proficiency with inspection tools (height gauges, micrometers, calipers, radius gauges).\n, • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).\n This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NOFORN).
