Job DescriptionInformation Systems SpecialistSalary: $70,000 – $90,000 Multi-Unit Hospitality & Restaurant Group | Livingston, NJ We are seeking a hands-on Information Systems Specialist to support corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, and remote users across a growing hospitality organization. This is a highly visible role for an IT professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting operations, and working across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, and hospitality technology platforms.What You’ll Do • Provide IT support for corporate users, restaurants, hotels, and remote employees, • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, POS systems, Wi-Fi, printers, and Microsoft 365 issues, • Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and Active Directory, • Manage SharePoint Online site creation, permissions, configuration, and information architecture, • Support networking environments including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, and Meraki dashboard administration, • Assist with malware remediation, spam filtering, endpoint support, and operational security, • Handle onboarding, account setup, documentation, vendor coordination, and ticket management, • Support hospitality systems including Oracle Simphony, Toast, Aloha, NCR, and PMS platformsRequirements, • 3+ years in a direct IT support role including Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Systems Support, • Experience supporting multi-site operations and remote users, • Microsoft 365 administration experience in a business environment, • Hands-on SharePoint Online experience including site creation, permissions, configuration, and information architecture, • Strong Microsoft stack knowledge including:, • Exchange Online, • Teams, • OneDrive, • Entra ID, • Active Directory, • Windows administration, • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration or reporting, • Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Meraki dashboard administration, and VLAN design, • Security and endpoint support experience including spam filter administration and malware remediation, • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor management skills, • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset, • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally as neededCertifications Strongly Preferred, • CompTIA A+, • Network+, • Microsoft CertificationsStrongly Preferred Experience, • Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or multi-site retail IT experience, • POS and hospitality systems including Oracle Simphony, Toast, Aloha, NCR, and PMS platforms, • Payment processing and PCI compliance awareness, • Experience leading IT projects including stakeholder and change management, • Technical writing and network/system diagramming experience, • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, hybrid identity, Zero Trust, and EDR platformsWhy Join Us?, • Diverse, hands-on IT environment with exposure to infrastructure, cloud systems, networking, and hospitality technology, • Opportunity to work on impactful operational and technical projects, • Stable and growing organization with long-term career potential If you are a proactive IT professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and supporting multi-unit operations, we’d love to connect with you.
