The Opportunity We're seeking a Government Contracts Consultant to join our growing consulting team in Huntsville. This role supports clients operating in the federal contracting space and plays a key part in contract administration, compliance, and proposal support throughout the full contract lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1–5 years of experience who has a solid understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations and government contracting processes. What You'll Do • Perform all aspects of contract administration, including correspondence, documentation, evaluation, financial reporting, and policy development related to government contracts, • Participate in contract negotiations from proposal development through project closeout in accordance with applicable regulations, • Administer contract awards and modifications to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, GSA, OTAs, and other relevant standards, • Support proposal preparation efforts, including pricing, scheduling, and coordination of contractual requirements, • Prepare and review consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and teaming agreements, • Ensure timely processing and submission of technical reports and contractual deliverables, • Serve as a liaison with contractors and subcontractors to resolve contracting-related issues, • Interface with operations personnel, program staff, and administrative teams across multiple levels, • Track and monitor contract task execution to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 24 hours of accredited business-related coursework (accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management), • 1–5 years of relevant experience in government contracting, • Documented experience and working knowledge of Federal Government Contracts in compliance with FAR/DFARS standards, GSA, and OTAs, • Strong written communication skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Work with a respected Top 100 CPA & Advisory firm supporting a diverse client base, • Be part of a culture built on mentorship, collaboration, and community involvement, • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, • Company-paid Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, • 401(k) plan with company match, • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and volunteer days, • Exceptional training and career development programs, • A structured career path and support for long-term professional growth
