This is an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical skills, build strong relationships with patients and providers, and become a valued member of a collaborative care team. 🩺 Job Description In this role, you’ll support providers and patients throughout the day by performing a mix of clinical and administrative duties. You’ll work closely with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience for every patient visit, while documenting care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system. 🔹 Responsibilities • Room patients efficiently and courteously, ensuring they are prepared for provider visits, • Obtain and document accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and other measurements as needed, • Prepare exam rooms before each visit by stocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use, • Document patient information, clinical data, and visit details in EPIC, • Assist with appointment scheduling, including new, follow‑up, and specialty visits, • Complete prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and services according to practice protocols, • Perform phlebotomy duties, including blood draws and specimen handling, if trained, • Conduct insurance verification to confirm coverage and benefits, • Provide administrative support such as updating patient records, handling messages, and coordinating with staff, • Collaborate closely with providers and team members in a family medicine setting serving both pediatric and adult patients, • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant clinical environment, • Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at all times✅ What We’re Looking For, • Medical Assistant experience OR active CNA or EMT license, • Prior medical office, clinic, or hospital experience required, • Ability to accurately take and record vital signs, • Experience rooming patients and assisting with clinical workflows, • Comfort working with pediatric and adult patient populations, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical environment, • Experience with EPIC preferred, • Phlebotomy and insurance verification experience is a plus🎓 Qualifications, • Medical Assistant diploma preferred, • CNA‑ or EMT‑licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, • Demonstrated interest in healthcare and patient‑centered care, • Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented work ethic🏥 Work Environment & Schedule, • Family medicine practice with five providers, • Mix of direct patient care and administrative responsibilities, • Collaborative, fast‑paced clinical setting, • Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., • No nights, weekends, or holidays💙 Why Join Us?, • Long‑term opportunity in an established family medicine practice, • Supportive team culture focused on collaboration and quality care, • Consistent daytime schedule for work‑life balance Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
