Job DescriptionMailroom/File Clerk Associate – 1st Shift Pay: $18.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Shift: 1st Shift Location: On-site - Minneapolis, MN Job Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Mailroom/File Clerk Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, locating, filing, and auditing physical documents within a secure records environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to remain active throughout the workday. Responsibilities • Pull and retrieve files from designated storage locations, • File and organize documents accurately within the records system, • Perform quality control audits to ensure documents are stored correctly, • Research and locate misplaced files using computer databases and tracking systems, • Investigate missing files by reviewing records, storage shelves, carts, desks, and other designated areas, • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, to track and verify information, • Maintain organization and accuracy while working in a production-driven environment, • Follow company procedures for document handling and records management, • Lift, move, and transport files and boxes as neededQualifications, • Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and databases, • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively, • Previous experience in filing, records management, mailroom, warehouse, production, or administrative environments is a plus, • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to applyPhysical Requirements, • Standing and walking approximately 90% of the workday, • Frequent movement throughout the facility, • Ability to climb step stools safely when needed, • Ability to lift up to 30 poundsIdeal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-focused, comfortable using computers, and enjoys investigative work when locating missing documents.
