Job Description Hiring Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Drivers 1st and 2nd shift Up to 24/hr Job Description The Shipping and Receiving Clerk oversees all finished goods entering and leaving the facility, ensuring that products are accurately received, properly stored, and shipped out on time. This role involves frequent use of forklifts and pallet jacks, regular inventory checks, computer-based inventory management, and hands-on packaging activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities • Receive finished goods into the facility and verify accuracy against documentation., • Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and secure packing., • Ship products out accurately by following shipping schedules, instructions, and documentation., • Perform regular inventory checks to confirm that stock levels are accurate and up to date., • Use warehouse management or inventory systems on a computer to check and update inventory levels., • Operate forklifts, including bendi and Drexell forklifts, to move, load, and unload products safely., • Use pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse., • Pick and stage orders according to shipping requirements and production needs., • Handle materials safely and efficiently to support warehouse and manufacturing operations., • Walk throughout the facility frequently to locate, move, and organize products., • Lift boxes weighing between 1 and 35 pounds and place them in designated storage areas, including shelving accessed by an industrial ladder., • At least 2 years of forklift experience, specifically with bendi or Drexell forklifts., • Proficiency operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment., • Ability to perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records., • Competence using a computer to check and update inventory levels., • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications., • Experience in material handling, including picking, packing, and labeling products., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, controlled manufacturing environment., • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting., • Plastics industry experience is a strong plus but not required., • Experience as a machine operator or in related material handling roles., • Attention to detail to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and labeling. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
