The role of the Admissions Coordinator at CCI is an important role, you will be the initial point of contact to clients and referring partied. Here’s what Crownview has to offer: To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs. This is an in person position, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, weekend flexibility to maintain phone lines, stand by/On-call pay offered. Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Establish and maintain trusting and professional relationships with referring parties., • Work closely with the Directors of Clinical Services and Psychiatry to assist with assigning clients to clinicians., • Maintain accurate databases of who is treating clients, when cases are opened/closed, etc., • Engage with referring parties in a professional and collaborative manner to understand referring parties’ needs, being aware that many referring parties call to transfer clients to other programs or seek additional help for clients in need of multiple services., • Participate with Director of Business Development, business office, clinical services and/or psychiatry to identify and remedy any barriers to clients receiving services., • Enter client data into facility client databases., • Be fully aware of all facility programs, their eligibility requirements, competencies and strengths., • Track referrals daily and provide weekly and monthly reports to appropriate facility staff/departments, • Follow up with clients who have not successfully connected services, • Accurately processes patient payments and notifies billing office of payments to ensure proper account credit., • Meets productivity standards and performs duties as workload necessitates, • Other duties as assigned MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Highschool Diploma or GED., • Experience in Behavioral Health (1 year preferred), • Attainment of at least 18 years of age, • A Health Screening with negative TB Test Results, • Current CPR/ First Aid certification., • D.L. or Government I.D. (Drivers License required for as needed driving), • Knowledge of industry standards as related to the position of Recovery Advocate., • Basic knowledge of PC software programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred. Salesforce preferred, • Accurately and timely enters clinical documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) software., • Written and oral communication skills; must be able to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic, • Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations such as when verbally or physically confronted in an aggressive manner, • Must be able to work independently with little supervision in an unstructured environment with multiple demands, • Must possess a reading and writing level that provides for clear expression and/or understanding of assignments related to job description, • Ability to represent the program well both inside and outside the facility, • Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations such as when verbally or physically confronted in an aggressive manner, • Sales and marketing experience in behavioral health a plus AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCY CHECKLIST (ADULT, 18yrs+) • Allows patient to maintain control; involves patient in decision-making and planning of care, as appropriate to condition and situation., • Encourages participation in care., • Demonstrates clinical knowledge of expected adult vital signs., • Recognizes abuse/neglect potential., • Encourages family support., • Recognizes/respects concerns over interruption of work/plans/separation from family, etc., • Recognizes fears regarding potential life style changes., • Encourages verbalization of fears and anxiety; maintains age-appropriate communication PROMOTES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT: • Performs duties in a manner that upholds OSHA standards for exposure control, • Follows infection control policies and procedures, • Adheres to facility and department safety policies, • Reports all potential safety risks, • Completes incident reports, • Supports employee health and infection control policies, • Responds correctly to codes and drills, • Utilizes supplies in a cost-effective manner, • Maintains equipment in proper working order and follows correct procedures in equipment use EEOC STATEMENT: It is our policy to abide by all Federal and State laws, as well as, the requirements of 41 CFR 601.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a), prohibiting discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibiting discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
