As our Industrial Equipment Reliability Technician, you’ll own the preventative and diagnostic maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment that shapes sheet metal and rod products used across North America. What You’ll Do (A Night in the Life) • Begin with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checks to maximize machine uptime and OEE, • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with speed and precision, • Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to plan repairs and preventative work, • Program, adjust, and troubleshoot automation—robots, controls, and PLCs—keeping production stable, • Install and commission new machinery; partner on continuous machine improvements, • Use hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively, • Follow OSHA and internal safety standards every step of the way, • Tackle additional tasks assigned by your supervisor as needs evolveHow Success Is Measured, • Safety Record, • OEE, • Continuous Improvement Activity, • Machine Uptime, • PM Completion %What You Bring, • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, • Background in industrial maintenance, a related technical field, or technical schooling, • Strength in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; automation experience is a big plus, • Comfort with standard preventive maintenance routines, • Hands-on skill with hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and appropriate PPE, • Metalworking know-how: cutting, welding, drilling, and tapping, • Working knowledge of PLCs and relay logic; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; electrical distribution and LOTO, • Experience with air compressor maintenance is helpful, • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and lift/move up to 50 lbsYou Should Be Proficient In, • PLC Troubleshooting Skills, • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, • 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems, • Preventive Maintenance & Inspection, • Journeyman’s License, • Electrical Troubleshooting, • Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, • Pneumatics Troubleshooting, • Maintenance and Repair Skills, • Hydraulic Systems & Components, • Electrical Systems & Diagnostics (Heavy Equipment), • Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting, • Mechanical Systems & Component Repair, • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)Machines & Technologies You’ll Use, • MIG Welder, • Press Brake, • Stamping Press (Minster), • Robotic Welder, • Overhead Crane, • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Omron)Additional Information Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
