American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Lansing, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 12/15/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, evenings, • Position is based in an outpatient MRI department with no floating or call requirements, • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, • Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, • High-volume Level I trauma center with musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging cases, • Procedures performed include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, • IV starts, PACS usage, and contrast administration required, • Epic is used for charting and Epic experience is preferred, • First-time travelers are accepted for this position, • No local radius rule; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers, • Free parking is provided with badge access, • Wine-colored scrubs required, • All requested time off must be submitted with application and is limited to 5 days per assignment, • Returning staff must wait 12 months before reapplying, • Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start, • Training in Epic provided during orientation\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required, • Active state license required by start date, if applicable, • BLS and ARRT certification required, • Proof of high school level education required, • Level I trauma experience preferred, • Must be experienced with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration, • Epic EMR experience preferred but not required\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
