Working within a 7 person kitchen team, everything is set up here to allow you to succeed, from the very well supplied kitchen and kit, to the fresh food menu's which you will be asked to contribute to designing, to the industry leading support and compliance procedures, everything is in place to allow you to be at your best every day. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Minimum 2 years working as a Sous Chef Be comfortable being customer facing as the role require consultation with patients for dietary needs Experience managing teams in a fast paced kitchen environment Health & safety procedures including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) and food safety standards. Proven chef and people management experience. Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people and the impact of food types on medication.
