This is a broad, high-profile role combining corporate development, investor relations and strategic analysis. \n Working closely with the Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, the successful candidate will support the delivery of Breedon's M&A activity, investor communications strategy, external market engagement and long-term strategic planning. \n Key Responsibilities \n Investor Relations \n\n • Support preparation of half-year and full-year results, including presentations, scripts, Q&A and announcements.\n, • Maintain analyst consensus and monitor market expectations.\n, • Prepare investor, analyst and Board materials, including Breedon’s investor website,\n, • Track and analyse shareholder movements and investor feedback.\n, • Support with capital markets events and site visits\n, • Coordinate responses to routine investor and analyst enquiries.\n\n Corporate Development \n\n • Work closely with our divisions in Great Britain, Ireland and the United States to support the identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition opportunities.\n, • Conduct market, competitor and target company research.\n, • Build and maintain acquisition valuation models.\n, • Assist with due diligence processes and adviser coordination.\n, • Prepare Board papers.\n, • Support integration planning and post-acquisition performance tracking.\n, • Maintain the Group acquisition pipeline and reporting processes.\n\n Strategy \n\n • Support development of the Group's strategic plans.\n, • Manage the Group’s capital approval process\n, • Analyse market data across Great Britain, Ireland and the United States.\n, • Monitor industry and competitor developments.\n, • Work with our Divisions to prepare strategic analysis for Board strategy sessions.\n\n Skills, Knowledge & Expertise \n\n • 5+ years' relevant experience, although investor relations experience is not a pre-requisite.\n, • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills\n, • Comfortable interacting with senior management and the plc Board, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders.\n, • Ability to conduct independent research\n, • Strong written communication and presentation skills, high attention to detail, organisational skills and strong commercial judgement.\n\n Job Benefits \n\n • Car allowance\n, • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays \n, • Contributory Pension Scheme \n, • Free on-site Parking \n, • Holiday Buy Scheme \n, • Volunteer Scheme \n, • Share Save Scheme \n, • Life Assurance \n, • Enhanced Maternity, Adoption & Paternity Scheme \n, • Health & Wellbeing Initiatives \n, • Discount Scheme \n
