Chartered Building Surveyor / Project Manager Remote Role | £70,000+ DOE | Laptop/Phone + Car Allowance Flexible, autonomous role with high-quality project work. Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS/CIOB) or experienced Project Manager looking for a flexible, well-paid role with full autonomy? We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing building consultancy that provides surveying, project management, and compliance services to residential management companies, developers, housebuilders, and private clients across the UK. Due to new long-term instructions and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced professional to join the team on a remote basis. The Role: This is a varied, project-led position offering remote working and independence, with regular site visits across London and the South/South East. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver major project works from inception through to completion, including contract administration and employer’s agent duties., • Produce long-term maintenance plans, technical reports, defect analysis, and building pathology assessments., • Lead and support cladding and fire-safety remediation projects, working with residential developers and management companies., • Manage party wall matters where required., • Take full ownership of workload and project delivery with minimal supervision., • Location and Travel, • Remote working, with optional access to a South East London office., • Primary workload in London, with additional projects in Reading, Woking, Highbury, Crawley, Bristol, Southampton, Kent, Essex, and Cambridge., • Candidates based in Kent are of particular interest. What We’re Looking For: Essential: • MRICS or CIOB qualified, or significant relevant PQE., • Experience in Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration., • Strong skills in building pathology, defect diagnosis, and problem-solving., • Confident operating independently and managing multiple concurrent projects., • Experience on both client-side and contractor-side projects., • Knowledge of cladding remediation, fire safety, or major residential refurbishment projects., • PQS or cost management experience.
