Full-time Includes shifts, weekends and on-call duties Salary £31,000 - £33,000 Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are seeking a motivated and confident Deputy Manager to join a childrens residential home, providing support to young people with complex disabilities and health needs. Key Responsibilities As Deputy Manager, you will take a key leadership role, actively shape the services performance and guide the team to achieve excellence. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading shifts and setting clear expectations for the team, • Supporting the Registered Manager with the overall running of the home, • Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining inspection readiness, • Overseeing care plans, safeguarding processes, and risk management, • Challenging poor practice and driving higher standards, • Coaching, supporting, and developing staff to improve performance, • Promoting a structured, safe, and child-focused environment, • Working closely with families and professionals to ensure consistency of care, • Taking responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager You will need to have: • Experience in a childrens residential care setting, • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager, • Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks, • Confidence to lead, challenge, and improve team performance, • A commitment to achieving or holding Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, • Valid DBS within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service) or willingness to complete a new one, • Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory standards, and positive behaviour support, • Great communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, • Strong communication and organisational skills Join a service that values your skills, supports your growth, and gives you the freedom to lead with confidence. xrnqpay Apply now and shape the future of the team and the young people in your care.
