We’re now looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team and help us develop our UK and European markets. The Role This is a 360 Recruitment Consultant role with responsibility for both candidates and clients. You’ll be expected to develop your own market, build strong relationships, generate new business and deliver high-quality candidates into specialist technical positions. Key Responsibilities Develop new business across the UK and European markets Build and maintain long-term client relationships Develop your own specialist recruitment desk Identify new vacancies and recruitment opportunities Source and attract high-quality technical candidates Proactively headhunt candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms Build and maintain a strong candidate network Take detailed job briefs from clients Advertise vacancies and manage candidate applications Conduct candidate interviews and qualification calls Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement Arrange interviews and manage the offer process Negotiate salaries, fees and terms Maintain accurate CRM records Develop existing client accounts and identify opportunities for further growth Work towards agreed individual billing and business-development targets Develop strong market knowledge and become a specialist within your chosen sector Our Markets You’ll have the opportunity to specialise in areas such as: Fire & Security Fire Alarm | Security Systems | CCTV | Access Control | Intruder Detection | Electronic Security | Fire & Security Management Engineering & MEP Mechanical | Electrical | Building Services | Project Management | Engineering Management Data Centres & Critical Infrastructure Data Centre Engineering | Project Management | Commissioning | Security | MEP | Facilities Technology & Facilities Technology | Facilities Management | Technical Services | Infrastructure Roles can range from: Engineers → Supervisors → Project Managers → Contract Managers → Senior Management → Directors & Leadership What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is commercially driven, ambitious and relationship-focused. You might already be an experienced Recruitment Consultant, or you may be a recruiter looking for an environment where you can take more ownership of your career. Ideally, you’ll have: Previous recruitment experience Experience within a 360 recruitment environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence speaking with clients and candidates A proactive approach to business development Good telephone and negotiation skills Excellent organisation and time management A target-driven mindset The ambition to develop a successful recruitment desk * The ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team Experience within technical recruitment, engineering, construction, MEP, Fire & Security, Data Centres or Technology would be a major advantage. UK & European Focus Your initial focus will be developing UK and European markets. As In The Loop Group continues to grow, there will be opportunities to work across additional international markets, including the Middle East and Asia. This could include supporting clients and candidates across markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore and other emerging international markets. International experience isn’t required for this role — but the ambition to grow internationally is.
