This position offers the opportunity to lead junior engineers, manage projects, develop client relationships, and take ownership of electrical design delivery across a wide range of sectors including Education, Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, and Survey/Condition Reporting projects. The Role As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll take a lead role in overseeing design output, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high technical standard. You'll manage project costs, support fee proposals, and play an active role in developing the technical standards within the team. You will be involved from concept through to completion, producing specifications, drawings, schedules, reports, and cost estimates, while also managing client relationships and supporting the wider project team. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical design and project management across multiple building services projects. Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality output across the design team. Hands-on CAD experience; ability to produce manual mark-ups and drawings. Preparing tender packages, analysing tender returns, and producing budget costings. Conducting site surveys and on-site project management. Direct client liaison and relationship management. Managing and mentoring junior engineers.
