Job Introduction We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Dealership in Droitwich. The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 1 in 3 Saturdays between 9am to 5pm. Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £77,000 . The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines. Role and Responsibilities You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customers expectations; In essence you will ensure that our customers buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively. To support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation whilst ensuring that stock is kept to the companys agreed levels. By driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products, to ensure budgetary sales / profit forecasts are achieved. Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Making sure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Companys FCA obligations). About you You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities. You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPIs and brand standards. You must be able demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition your need to have strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality and a real passion for the brand. Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Additional key tasks & accountabilities when acting as Project Manager: Manage teams of Engineers to ensure work is carried out on time and safely Liaise with Service Engineers and subcontractors and carry out site audits as and when required to ensure work is being undertaken to a high standard Overseeing & quoting any variations. Ensure stringent KPIs are followed and complied with and reported back to the customer in a timely fashion. Communicate with customers and attend face to face meetings as and when required. Ensure installation handover documentation is produced and passed to clients on time Provide management with a weekly report relating to project progress. The report should detail specific information relating to the operational and financial aspects of a project. About you: Are you a qualified Electrician?
