We are seeking a passionate Pizza Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations, with a keen eye for food safety and hygiene standards. 20 hours per week upto 45 hours if needed for increased operating hours. 2 weeks off over Christmas and New year. all bank holidays off. fixed shifts: every Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays off. Duties Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, with attention to presentation and flavour. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring ingredients are stored correctly. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all health and safety policies, including proper handling of food and kitchen equipment. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Experience in pizza making preferred but not essential but ability and want to learn as training will be given. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and hygiene practice. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
