Were seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with learners aged 516 who may have additional needs such as ADHD, Autism (ASD), SEMH, Dyslexia, or Learning Difficulties. We offer a range of day-to-day, part-time, and long-term opportunities across inclusive and welcoming schools in Manchester and surrounding areas. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs. Deliver tailored interventions and assist in achieving EHCP targets. Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support progress. Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and independence using a trauma-informed approach. About You Were looking for individuals who are: Experienced in supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting. Calm, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for helping children thrive. Strong communicators and effective team players. Familiar with PECS, Makaton, or visual timetables (advantageous but not essential). In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
