Title: Electrician (Repairs) Location: Field-based across North East England Hours: 40 per week Salary: £38,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Are you a Qualified Electrician with a passion for quality workmanship and safety? Join Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS) and help us deliver outstanding electrical services across a portfolio of upto 5,000 locations. As part of our dedicated team, you'll carry out installations, inspections, and testing to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and in excellent condition. This is a site-based role, requiring travel within the Northeast —so flexibility and a full UK driving license are essential. Why join us? • Competitive salary and benefits package, • Tools/Equipment and Company Van and fuel card provided, • Paid call out, • Annual Leave of 25 days + 8 bank holidays (buy & sell scheme available), • Free Life Assurance of upto x3 your annual salary, • Pension contribution between 4% and 8% - we’ll match it or better, • Ongoing professional development opportunities What you’ll be doing: • Electrical installations, inspections, testing, and repairs, • Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions, • Ensuring all work complies with the latest electrical safety legislation, • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and being fully conversant with the current NICEIC 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, • Working independently or as part of a team to complete jobs to high standards, • Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment, • Completing site documentation accurately and on time, • Following all SHEQ and PPE guidelines to work safely What we’re looking for: • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), • City & Guilds 2391 or EAL Inspection & Testing qualification, • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671), • JIB Gold Card, • Proven experience in electrical repairs and maintenance, ideally in housing or care environments, • A full, valid UK driving license, • Strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional approach If you're a motivated Electrician looking for a new opportunity with a reputable organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
