We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional Planning Manager to support the Head of Department in delivering high quality planning, analysis and operational insight. This role will play a key part in driving business improvement, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to strategic projects that enhance overall performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate forecasting and planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. Support the Head of Department with strategic and operational tasks, including data analysis, scenario modelling, and ad-hoc project work. Utilize various systems and tools to maintain data accuracy, monitor exceptions, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making. Review key performance metrics, identify variances or issues, and recommend effective solutions to improve performance. Manage, support, or coordinate departmental projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives. Coach and develop team members, providing guidance to enhance capabilities and ensure high-quality outputs. Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs such as availability, stock cover, and forecast performance. Skills & Experience: Experience in planning, forecasting, supply chain, or business operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on systems and process efficiency. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple functions. Proven leadership or team management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar is highly desirable.
