Main Goal To ensure that all personal sales objectives are achieved/exceeded by driving sales through the existing customer base and new business opportunities. To target both core and non-core products and services into existing customer and targeted competitor account listings. Responsibilities/Tasks • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and new prospective customers., • Understanding customer requirements and translating this into an offering which will work well and in turn ensuring repeat business., • Account management- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and existing customer relationships in person and via telephone calls and emails., • Working collaboratively with other team members and the wider Kyocera UK Group business to ensure that customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes., • Location: Field based- the expectation is a mixture of visiting client sites, office working and working from home as appropriate., • To target and systematically approach competitor accounts to win new business in order to increase Annodata’s market share., • To be able to demonstrate/show that all sales activities meet the standard as outlined in the KPI Plan covering the set minimum of:, • Planned Activity, • Planned existing customer contact, upgrade and additional placements, • Planned targeted competitive account contact, new business, • Forecasting of prospects within a given period, • Ability to demonstrate the status of forecasted prospects, • To attend weekly sales meetings and/or 1:1’s as directed by the immediate Manager to review:, • Previous weeks activity and results, • The new week’s activity and planned closes, • Updated current sales cycles, • Current/new forecasts, • Phone Blitz call lists, • Review of sales engagement CRM data, • Any field accompaniment/support and other issues, • To attend monthly meeting with the immediate manager to review:, • Month, Quarter to Date and Year To Date figures, • “Suspect Bank” “Quality and Quantity, • Current sales cycles, • Review of map programme activity for existing and competitor accounts, • Previous months activities, • Training requirements and progress update on PDP, • Responses to Business Development leads within the period, • To enlist the support and advice of Post/Pre-Sales Consultants when appropriate in both existing and targeted competitor accounts., • To ensure all aspects of all designated accounts are fully managed to the mutual benefit of both the busines and the customer, engaging in account reviews with key customer personnel at intervals agreed with customer and in 1:1 reviews., • To ensure that all information regarding customers and prospects contacted is updated and accurate. Maintain “account profiles” for accounts designated to personal responsibility and update those colleagues in which there is common interest., • Ensure prompt and satisfactory response and resolution to all customer queries and complaints., • To maintain a high degree of product skills and company knowledge sufficient to professionally advise customers and prospects in their decisions regarding the development of their business with Annodata. Remain fully conversant with the designated product range and be adept at demonstrating the equipment., • Fully conversant with all administrative procedures, so that any transactions can be processed efficiently., • To complete all documents and reports fully, accurately and punctually., • To comply with Company instructions and procedures applicable to the sales force., • To contact the office as least twice daily while out on territory and ensure sufficient planned attendance to respond effectively to messages and enquires., • To liaise and respond as require with all other departments, drawing on any necessary support to resolve issues Annodata may have with a client., • Effectively communicate to the immediate Manager, all changes in competitor activity on the territory covered in a timely, proficient and accurate manner., • Ensure customers are provided with training, where machinery is sold, using Annodata’s full breadth of resources., • Attend all seminars, training days, as required by the Company and/or immediate Manager., • Always act in accordance with company ethical guidelines and the Quality System, referring to the immediate Manager when in doubt., • Ensure all demonstration stock issues is carefully monitored and collected in accordance with instructions, liaising with business resources., • Ensure appropriate follow-up on all sales leads and enquiries as well as full and correct feedback to the initiator. Knowledge, Experience & Skills • Demonstratable previous experience within a sales role is essential, prior knowledge of our industry. Office supply sales or Financial Services would be advantageous., • Results orientated, driven to succeed, achieve and exceed targets., • Experiencing of using relationship management tools (Salesforce) and competent in using all MS office programs; Word, PowerPoint, Excel SharePoint, Teams etc., • Proven experience of negotiation skills and the ability to close deals., • Commercial awareness., • Building rapport with customers- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback., • Comfortable in cross selling being able to use initiative to offer alternative solutions to potential customers., • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills., • Communication and listening skills- ensuring relevant and timely communication with all stakeholders who might be impacted by actions or inactions. Recommending solutions and/or alternative propositions when things go wrong., • Awareness of how the role impacts on company performance. Considering the needs of all stakeholders, pre-empting potential situations and taking action to avert them.
