Executive Assistant - Newcastle upon Tyne - Fully Onsite - up to £50k - 12-month FTC \n \n Robert Half are thrilled to be recruiting for a full-time, Executive Assistant for a 12-month FTC for a client in Newcastle Upon Tyne offering up to £50,000. \n \n This role sits within the Business Administration team, who play a vital role in delivering service excellence across the organisation, providing essential support to multiple departments, the team manages meeting schedules, coordinates travel, oversees accounts, and delivers a variety of ad hoc projects. Their focus is on creating a supportive and efficient environment that enables colleagues to achieve their goals and drive the success of the business. \n \n Things to know: \n\n • Job Title: Executive Assistant and Business Administrator\n, • Salary: £35k - £50k, DOE\n, • Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne\n, • Contract length: 12 months\n, • Working pattern: Full-time hours - Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, 5 days onsite\n, • Free onsite parking\n\n \n Responsibilities: \n\n • Manage diaries and stay on top of stakeholders' meeting schedules.\n, • Schedule meetings, handle logistics, and assist with meeting preparation.\n, • Prepare and format presentation materials.\n, • Screen and manage calls, coordinate conference calls, and handle correspondence with external contacts.\n, • Build strong working relationships across all departments, maintaining a professional and approachable manner at all times.\n, • Arrange business travel, including booking transport, accommodation, and preparing detailed itineraries.\n, • Support the planning, logistics, and delivery of firmwide events.\n, • Undertake ad hoc projects, research, administration, and record-keeping.\n, • Collaborate closely with the wider Business Administration and Executive Assistant teams to provide seamless support across the firm.\n\n \n Requirements: \n\n • You'll have a minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), supported by strong A-level results.\n, • Bring at least 2 years' experience in a similar administrative or support role.\n, • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word, with excellent overall IT skills.\n, • Experienced in handling confidential information with professionalism, tact, and discretion.\n, • An exceptional communicator, both verbally and in writing.\n, • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to keep projects moving and meet deadlines.\n, • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.\n, • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and anticipating needs in a fast-paced environment.\n, • A strong team player with a positive attitude, energy, and a solid work ethic.\n, • Collaborative by nature, working effectively with colleagues across the wider Business Administration team.\n
