Job Title: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive – Cyber Security Sales Location: Cheltenham (2–3 days per week in office; flexible for candidates further afield) Salary: Account Executive – c. £50,000 base | Senior Account Executive – c. £80,000 base Benefits: Uncapped commission, fantastic training & onboarding, clear career progression About the Company Our client is a fast-growing, specialist cyber security consultancy with ambitious growth plans. They work with both private and public sector clients, providing SOC services, crisis simulation, and risk management solutions. Role Overview We are looking for pure new business hunters to drive growth across private and public sector markets. This is not an account management role – the focus is 100% on identifying opportunities, generating pipeline, and winning new clients. Key Responsibilities • Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities across private and public sector organisations, • Drive the full 360° sales cycle, from initial contact through to close, • Sell the company’s SOC, crisis simulation, and cyber risk management solutions, • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in target organisations, • Work closely with the pre-sales and delivery teams to develop solutions aligned with client requirements, • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and CRM records, • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities, • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets Essential Requirements • Minimum 3 years’ experience in cyber security sales within a cyber security consultancy, • Proven ability to sell across the full 360° sales cycle, • Demonstrated new business hunting skills, • Experience selling SOC services, crisis simulation, or risk management solutions, • Track record of selling to private and public sector organisations, • Must have right to work in the UK, • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, • Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven, • Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials), • Good knowledge of security tools, SOC operations, or risk management solutions Why Join? • Pure new business hunter role with uncapped commission, • Fantastic training and onboarding, supporting rapid ramp-up, • Clear career progression in a growing and forward-thinking consultancy, • Exposure to exciting private and public sector cyber security projects, • Flexible working with 2–3 days per week in the office Set2Recruit are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
