We're not a traditional outsourcing company—we're an operating partner that helps businesses scale faster through high-quality, outcome-focused offshore teams based in Pakistan. We work with clients across e-commerce, energy, real estate, logistics, and professional services, helping them build back-office operations, customer service teams, and sales support functions that deliver results. We're a founder-led business in growth mode, and we're looking for our first Business Development Manager to drive our expansion across the UK market. The Role This is a new business hunter role. You'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new clients who need offshore teams to scale their operations. You'll work directly with the founder, building the sales function from the ground up. This isn't just a sales job—it's an opportunity to shape how we go to market, which sectors we target, and how we position ourselves against competitors. What You'll DoBusiness Development (80%) • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target sectors (e-commerce, energy brokers, real estate, logistics, taxi companies), • Build and manage your own pipeline using LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, and industry networks, • Run discovery calls, demos, and consultative sales conversations with business owners and operations leaders, • Develop proposals and close deals (typically £30K-£100K annual contract value), • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed contract Strategy & Market Intelligence (10%) • Provide feedback on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy, • Identify new sectors and opportunities we should be targeting, • Share insights on competitor activity and market trends, • Contribute to case studies, testimonials, and sales collateral Client Transition (10%) • Work with the operations team to ensure smooth client onboarding, • Maintain relationships with new clients during first 30 days, • Gather feedback to improve sales and delivery processes What We're Looking For Must-Haves • 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets, • New business development focus—you're a hunter, not an account manager, • Experience selling services (not products)—ideally consulting, outsourcing, recruitment, or SaaS, • Comfortable with longer sales cycles (4-8 weeks) and consultative selling, • Strong discovery and qualification skills—you ask the right questions, • Self-starter who can build pipeline from scratch without hand-holding, • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal, • Experience in outsourcing, BPO, recruitment, or staffing industries, • Existing network in target sectors (e-commerce, energy, logistics, real estate), • CRM experience (we use HubSpot), • You need a lot of direction and structure to perform, • You're uncomfortable with cold outreach or building pipeline independently, • You prefer account management or customer success over new business, • Base Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience), • Commission: 5% of annual contract value (uncapped), • OTE: £60,000 - £65,000 (based on £400K - £460K quota), • Accelerators: 7.5% commission rate on deals above 120% quota, • Fully remote working (UK-based), • Flexible hours (results matter, not presenteeism), • Laptop and equipment provided, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Professional development budget (£500/year), • Quarterly performance bonuses, • Sign 8 clients at £50K annual contract value (£400K total) = £20,000 commission, • Sign 10 clients at £50K annual contract value (£500K total) = £27,500 commission You'll Have Real Impact You're not employee #247. We'll meet in person occasionally (quarterly), but day-to-day is fully remote. What's the quota? £400K - £460K in annual contract value in year one. That's roughly 8-12 clients depending on deal size. Achievable with consistent pipeline activity. How long are sales cycles? Typically 4-8 weeks from first conversation to signed contract. Smaller deals (£30-50K) close faster. Larger deals (£80-100K+) take longer. What support will I get? You'll work directly with the founder. We'll provide CRM, sales collateral, case studies, and operational support. But you'll own pipeline generation. Can I see commission in writing? Yes. Full commission structure and accelerators are documented in your contract. No ambiguity. What if I don't hit quota in my first few months? We understand ramp-up time. Quota expectations are prorated for first 90 days. Base salary provides stability while you build pipeline.
