Marketing Executive - Digital Marketing & Content Creation Location: Ware Hybrid Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £33,00- £35,000 The Business: We’re working with a growing managed IT services provider on a genuine growth mission, targeting revenue of £16m within three years, backed by a new board and new investment. They operate across IT managed services, print and document solutions, and communications, and they’re building the marketing function to match their ambition. The Head of Marketing is the sole permanent member of the team right now. This hire is the next step in building it. If you want to join something early and make your mark, this is that opportunity. The Role This is a hands-on, multi-disciplined marketing role. You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing across content, digital, design, campaigns, and performance, then report back on what’s working and why. The business has a podcast studio, an active social and email programme, a WordPress site to manage, and a sales team that needs marketing to have their back. No two weeks will look the same. That’s the point. • The expectation is that the right person grows into a Marketing Manager role within 18–24 months as the team expands. This is an early entry into a business with serious ambition — the growth is genuine, and the reward will reflect it. What You’ll Be Doing • Creating and managing content across blogs, social media, email, video, and podcasts — from brief through to published asset, • Managing and updating the company WordPress website (Beaver Builder), including SEO and AEO optimisation, • Designing and producing visual assets in Canva and Adobe Suite — graphics, brochures, presentations, and video edits, • Recording and editing podcast and video content in the on-site studio, • Planning and delivering email campaigns and social programmes via Spotler and Spotler Engage, • Tracking, analysing, and reporting on campaign performance — clicks, opens, lead conversion, and pipeline contribution, • Supporting the sales team by prioritising content around live opportunities and sales conversations, • Keeping on top of competitor activity and market trends to identify content and positioning opportunities What We’re Looking For The right attitude matters as much as the right CV here. They want someone who finds a way around a problem, not someone who flags it and waits. • 1–3 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment., • Proven WordPress experience — managing, updating, and publishing content (Beaver Builder experience is a bonus), • Confident using Canva day-to-day; Adobe Suite experience is a strong plus, • Comfortable with email marketing platforms (Spotler, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar), • An analytical mindset — you understand what good performance looks like and you can report on it clearly, • A full, valid UK driving licence — you’ll be working across two offices and this is essential, • The ability to manage multiple projects at once without dropping the detail The Setup • Salary: £33,000–£35,000 depending on experience — with room built in to reward strong performance at the six-month mark, • Hybrid working across Ware (Herts) and St Ives (Cambs) — office-based initially, moving to a settled hybrid pattern once you’re embedded, • 28 days holiday + your birthday off, • Pension scheme, salary sacrifice private healthcare and dental (after probation), contribution to glasses, • Summer and Christmas parties and regular company events
